Terms and Conditions

These ("Terms and Conditions") govern your entry and participation in the Score Select competition ("Score Select"). Please read through these Terms and Conditions carefully. By entering and participating in Score Select you will be deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions. The terms 'you' and 'player' are used, for the purposes of the Terms and Conditions, to refer to any individual or entity participating in Score Select. The expressions 'us', 'we' or 'our' refer to ANZ National Bank Limited. This is not a gambling site.

Eligibility
To be eligible to enter Score Select, you must:

  1. have successfully completed registration by going to anznetball.com, becoming a registered member of anznetball.co.nz, accepting the terms and conditions, and received an email confirmation to this effect; and
  2. be at least 18 years old, or, if you are under 18, have consent of a parent or guardian to do so (no player under the age of 18 years can win the grand prize without the consent of a parent or guardian to do so); and
  3. be resident in any country provided that it is legal for that person to enter Score Select in their own country, state or jurisdiction (however, the grand prize is only available to New Zealand residents).

Promoter and Organiser
The promoter and organiser of Score Select is ANZ National Bank Limited, whose registered address is Level 6, 1 Victoria Street, Wellington ("ANZ").
Employees of ANZ may play Score Select.

Changes
We may, at any time, amend or delete any of these Terms and Conditions and/or the Score Select Rules. Please ensure that you check the Terms and Conditions and the Score Select Rules on a regular basis to review any changes we have made. If you continue to participate in Score Select following the publication of any changes to the Terms and Conditions and/or the Score Select Rules you are deemed to have accepted those changes.

Registration
Upon successful completion of the registration process for anznetball.com and receipt of an email from us confirming your successful registration, it will be your responsibility to advise us of changes to your details as appropriate.
Your "user name" and password will be required when you log on to anznetball.com to play Score Select.
We shall not permit any other person to register using your user name and password or share your user name and password.
When you register for anznetball.com you will be obliged to click on an icon confirming that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms and Conditions. You will not be allowed to play Score Select unless you have indicated acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
Your password must be kept confidential at all times. We do not accept responsibility for any entry submitted using your details. You may not share your email address. Each email address can only be registered to one person.

Score Select
Score Select commences on 01 March 2012 and closes on 21 July 2012.
All winning entries will be notified by email on or about 7 days following the relevant round. Any game points awarded will be attributed, on an accumulation basis, to the successful user name.

Prize
The grand prize is $1,000 cash, credited to an account nominated by the winner.
The player who is ranked number one on the Score Select Competition Ladder after the completion of all 69 games of the ANZ Championship for 2012, having accumulated the most points playing Score Select, shall be the winner of the grand prize.
In the event there is more than one player ranked number one on the Competition Ladder, ANZ judges will conduct a random draw to determine which of the highest scoring players will win the grand prize.
If the player who has accumulated the most points during Score Select is not a New Zealand resident, the grand Prize will be given to the player who has the next highest accumulated points and is a New Zealand resident.
We reserve the right to make any changes to any prizes and to provide the winner with a substitute prize.
The ANZ judges' decision is final and no correspondence whatsoever will be entered into regarding Score Select.
We will not be held responsible for delays in the delivery of any prizes.
We reserve the right to make whatever enquiries we see fit to establish the identity, age and eligibility of any player and/or winner. ANZ reserves the right to redraw the grand prize in the event our enquiries do not in our view establish the identity, age and eligibility of the winner.
No player under the age of 18 years can win prizes without the consent of a parent or guardian.
A player who is not a New Zealand resident can not win the grand prize.

Submission of entries
All entries for Score Select must be submitted on-line via anznetball.com. Only upon receipt of our online confirmation will your entry be deemed to be accepted.
All entries must be received by 12 noon on the Friday (NZ time) prior to the round beginning. No entries will be accepted after these times. Players are entitled to 'default picks' on three occasions if they do not make their picks in time.
You may change your winning team selections and winning margin selections any number of times during the week, up until 12 noon (NZ time) on the Friday prior to the round beginning. All updated selections must be re-submitted. Only upon receipt of our online confirmation will your updated entry be deemed to be accepted.
The following entries shall be deemed invalid:

  1. multiple entries per person per game;
  2. incomprehensible, or incomplete entries;
  3. any entries that infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party or that are plagiarised; and
  4. any entries that do not comply with these Terms and Conditions.

All entries become the property of ANZ.
We accept no responsibility for late or undelivered entries, communications or for any technical failure, malfunction or difficulty, or any other event causing disruption to or corruption of Score Select.
No purchase is necessary to enter Score Select.
We accept no responsibility for the predictions made, or information provided, by any person or entity which is displayed on this website. If you take the comments, predictions and/or information of any other person or entity into consideration you do so entirely at your own risk.
By participating in Score Select you agree not to:

  • impersonate another person or use a false name or name you are not authorised to use, or create a false identity or email address or try to mislead others as to the identity or origin of any communications;
  • make available or upload files that contain software or other material, data or information not owned or licensed to you or collect information about others (such as names and addresses) without their prior consent;
  • damage, interfere with or disrupt access to Score Select or this website or do anything which may interrupt or impair its functionality including by means of submitting a virus to this website, overloading, "flooding", "spamming", "crashing" or "mailbombing";
  • make available, upload or distribute by any means any material or files that contain any viruses, bugs, corrupt data, "Trojan horses", "worms" or any other harmful software; restricted.

Use of Winners' details
Details of the top 20 scores by players in Score Select may be displayed each week on our Competition Ladder. You agree that, if you are one of those top 20 scorers, we can display your user name together with your score.
By entering Score Select you give us permission to use your name and your user name for promotional purposes without further compensation. We may also request a photograph of you as a winner of Score Select for our Competition Ladder page.

Disclaimer
ANZ shall not be liable for any loss, damage, personal injury or death whatsoever (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) which is suffered or sustained arising out of or in connection with Score Select, the taking or using of a prize, or any act or omission (whether negligent or not) of ANZ or any of its associated agencies, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.

Termination
We may suspend or cancel Score Select or your participation in it at any time without notice. Our general disclaimer and limitation of liability will survive such cancellation.

Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of New Zealand and New Zealand Courts have jurisdiction.

"ANZ" means ANZ National Bank Limited.
